Tips for fixing Banner INB on client computers
Every once in a while I'll get a call from a user that Banner INB does not run for them. It could be from a recent update installed on their computer, corrupted java cache, or java stops working completely. Here's a few things that seem to get it working again...
- Try deleting the java temporary internet files. Under control panel, go to java and click on the settings button under "temporary internet files". Click on "delete files". Try to run banner again and see if it works. If not...
- Reinstall Java. (get the auto-download version off the INB server, then upgrade to the current version) Make sure to uninstall all prior versions of java before doing this and a quick reboot.
