Attendance & Participation

As an online course, there is no face-to-face attendance requirement. However, there are regular discussions on Moodle. Each block of material will include a set of discussion fora. Participation in these fora is required as part of your grade (see Assignments). Your basic requirement is five (5) forum posts per block. You can earn additional consideration by exceeding this requirement in your contributions. At the very least, this will earn you benefit of the doubt on your grade. Essentially, if you are near or on the border between grades, I will adjust your point total to the higher grade. If you are an exceptional contributor, you may earn a more significant adjustment to your grade.
