I will be thankful this Thanksgiving when the iPad hits a much anticipated milestone next week.
So I have been patiently waiting all month for my iPad to get extremely more functional and have been anticipating the release of IOS 4.2.
I want to muli-task, organize with folders, and have printing to make my sidekick more self-sufficient. November is ticking by and lastest guessi s that November 24th will be the day that the iPad will get this important update.
What makes me even more excited for this month is Google just announced a revamp of Goggle Docs on the mobile platform. They are going to be releasing a new document editor for the mobile browser that will give iPads and Android devices Google Docs editing function.
No need to buy Pages or load iWorks! As a current user of Google Docs I have been waiting for a Google fix to the mobile editing issue.
My wishlist for the iPad functions is still needing some things ticked off of it. I can only list a few off the top of my head:
- bluetooth webcam/camera support
- better external Display support and Apps
I feel the iPad may leave its psuedo "beta" status in the next month and become a truely mobile computer just in time for the competition to arrive from others like the Samsung Galaxy Tab.
