Coaching philosophy

"A good coach will make his players see what they can be rather than what they are," stated Ara Parasheghian. That would be my goal every year with every team I coach. My strategy might change from year to year as I adapt to the new players and attitudes. But something I will always want is to be a positive coach and a reliable role model. Especially, since I want to coach girls, preferably at the High School level, I want to not only teach them but connect with them. High school is a hard time for many girls, as I want to relate to my players and create positive relationships with them. I want to guide them in developing the basics and helping them mold into mentally smart players. Another main goal I would have is to have fun. I truly believe that it is the best way to reach girls this age and keep them into the game. I want them to enjoy it everyday because I know those memories stay with people forever.
