Admission
to WOU
Requires:

General admission standards for freshman undergraduate international students
require the equivalent from the home country of an American grade point
average of 2.75.

Transfer students must have a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 (C
average) or the equivalent in all work completed at other accredited colleges
and universities.

Graduate students must hold a baccalaureate degree from an acceptable four-year
institution and have the equivalent to an American 3.0 college grade point
average.

Provide proof of proficiency in the English language by submitting the
results of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).

TOEFL score of 470 (CBT 150) for conditional admission and 520 (CBT
190) for regular admission at the undergraduate level and 550 at the graduate
level.

Students who do not meet the English language requirement may be interested
in the English Language Study Center.

Provide proof of adequate financial resources by submitting the completed
Financial Certificate and Visa Information Form, and all required supporting
documents. For current costs consult the Financial Certificate form.
