Today is the last day to vote! All ballots must be received by 8PM in order to be counted. It is too late to mail ballots in so they must be dropped off at an official drop off site. According to the Polk County Clerk's Office, they can be dropped off at any drop off site in the state of Oregon and still be counted so long as they are in before 8PM tonight. All Polk County drop off sites are now open and will remain open until 8PM.

Here are local drop off sites:
- Wagner Community Library, 111 N Main St. in City of Falls City, Oregon
- Polk County Clerk's Office, 850 Main St in City of Dallas, Oregon (Courthouse 2nd floor or the drop site located in the NE corner of the Courthouse parking lot)
- Monmouth Public Library, 168 Ecols St. S in City of Monmouth, Oregon
- Werner University Center, Western Oregon University, 345 N Monmouth Ave. in Monmouth
- Independence City Hall, 555 S Main St. in City of Independence (drop site located inside front lobby)
- Roth's Market, 1130 Wallace Rd NW in West Salem
- Marion County Building, 555 Court St. NE in City of Salem
- Marion County Health Department, 3180 Center St. NE in Salem
- Roth's Fresh Market - Vista, 3045 Commercial St. SE in Salem
- Keizer City Hall, 930 Chemawa Road NE in Keizer
- Keizer US Bank, 5110 River Road N in Keizer

For local election results, the Polk County Itemizer-Observer will be doing updates on their Facebook and on their Twitter at @PolkIONews with results to be printed and posted online in a later edition. The Statesman Journal has temporarily removed the paywall on both its main and mobile sites so that people can read election results. All articles will be free to read until 8PM on Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2016.
