The goal of our Making College Happen programs is to assist students through the college search and selection process. It is a great opportunity for them to learn about various aspects of college life as well as the countless resources available to help them achieve their goals.


Please remember that Making College Happen is intended to serve high school students that are traditionally underrepresented in higher education; such as those who are ethnic minorities, first generation, and/or low-income students. Program sessions and activities are primarily intended to address the needs of high school seniors, but juniors are welcome to attend.


Students will be divided into groups, each of which will get a separate agenda; this is an example of what the day will look for one group. The start time and closing time will be the same for all students.


Note: Due to budgetary constraints, the Office of Admissions is unable to provide financial support for transportation. Thank you for your understanding.
