Fall Preview Day

Due to the overwhelming response from prospective students and their families, registration is closed for Fall Preview Day. A record number of students, family members and guests are expected to attend the program. The Office of Admissions is no longer accepting registrations for the program and students are invited to investigate WOU's future visitation opportunities at www.wou.edu/visit.

 

Preview Day Scholarship

  • Students who have applied for freshman or transfer admission during check-in and prior to the program are eligible for the Preview Day scholarship drawing.
  • The $1000 scholarships are only valid for new freshmen or transfer students entering WOU Fall Term 2014 only and recipients must be present during Preview Day.

When you attend Western Oregon University's Fall Preview Day, you learn about our academic programs, meet our outstanding professors and see what opportunities are available to you on our beautiful campus. Preview Days are designed to acquaint you with our campus and help you understand why students matter at WOU.

  • Attendance is free and family members or guests are strongly encouraged to attend
  • Lunch will be served by our nationally recognized dining services

 

Registration is required

  • Note: Online registration closes at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, November 6, 2013.

 

Check in starts at 8:15 a.m.

Please meet us at the Werner University Center no later than 8:45 a.m. There will be signs to guide students and their guests to parking lots reserved for Preview Day. PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN THE LOT BEHIND THE FOOTBALL STADIUM.

 

Attire

Students and their guests are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes due to the fact they will be touring the campus. Attendees are also advised to bring a jacket and umbrella in the event of rain/cooler temperatures the day of the program.

 

Admissions status

For student who apply for admission at check-in

Students attending Fall Preview Day who provide an admission application, official transcripts, ACT or SACT scores (freshmen only) and the $60.00 admission application fee will be notified of their admission status at the conclusion of the program.

 

Attend a game

  • November 9, kick-off at 1:00 p.m.
    Wolves Football vs. Central Washington

Complimentary tickets available - for attendees - limit 3 per family.

Complimentary tickets can only be requested when registering online for the November 9 Fall Preview Day. Per NCAA policy, students who request tickets must present photo identification at the stadium to receive their tickets. The WOU Athletic Department will not make exceptions to this policy

 

If you cannot attend a Preview Day,Schedule an individual campus visit.

Tours are given by WOU student Ambassadors and admissions counselors are available to meet with you by appointment.
