51st Annual Holiday Tree Lighting:

The 51st Annual Holiday Tree Lighting event will be taking place on Friday November 30th, 2018, at Western Oregon University. Starting at 6 p.m., the outdoor program will festively feature various student groups, local businesses, and organizations. With a special guest from the North Pole set to be in attendance, please join us in the Werner University Center for the indoor program which will include the cookie bake off contest, arts and crafts, a Toys for Tots donation site, and holiday pictures in the Willamette Room.

Friday November 30, 2018

  • 6 p.m. – Holiday Parade begins –  Leaving from Partnerships in Community Living, across from Little Caesars on Main St.
  • Following the parade there will be remarks from community leaders and the tree will be illuminated.
  • 7 p.m. – Local School Choir Concert
  • 7 p.m. – Wine, Warmth, & Music at the Historic Gentle House
Inside Program: Pictures with Santa, Holiday Cookie Bake-Off, Tree Decorating Contest, Arts & Crafts
The Cannon Art Gallery will be open showcasing WOU Faculty art.
