Fellowships and scholarships

General Information

As soon as you decide to study or intern abroad, make an appointment to see a financial aid counselor. Remember to take a copy of the budget for your program to your appointment.  For additional information about study abroad and financial aid, click here.  Though many types of financial aid and scholarships apply to study abroad and international internships, there are some exceptions. The Financial Aid Office can advise you about what will apply.  WOU also offers a variety of scholarships, some of which you may be able to use for study abroad.
