Information about the Exchange Visitor Program

Western Oregon University has a long tradition of advocating cultural diversity and the values of internationalization on campus. The Exchange Visitor’s role as the unofficial ambassadors, representing their home countries while in the U.S. is a valued and important benefit to Western Oregon University and its students. We appreciate Exchange Visitor’s contribution to our institution.

The Office of International Education and Development (OIED) at Western Oregon University was designated by the U.S. Department of State to be responsible for the reciprocal Exchange Visitor Programs between Western Oregon University and international institutions. Any incoming international visiting scholars/professors, or visiting students/exchange students from foreign institutions and agencies at WOU must apply and submit the required documentations to OIED for approval.
