Farewell to the Jensen Arctic Museum As one of only two institutions dedicated to collections related to Arctic life, the Jensen Arctic Museum opened on the Western Oregon University campus in 1985 by emeritus professor Dr. Paul H. Jensen. Although WOU made the difficult decision to cease operation of the Jensen Museum due to funding challenges, the collection will be moved to the University of Oregon Museum of Natural Cultural History in 2014. We offer this exhibit as a tribute to Dr. Paul Jensen as we bid a fond farewell to the museum.

Who You Gonna Call Inspired by a digital collection of campus photographs donated to University Archives by Rhawn Krough, a former Physical Plant employee, this exhibit features behind the scenes images form the Physical Plant's perspective of Western's award winning grounds over the last century.

"Tenuous" by Marie Sivak The Cannon Gallery of Art at Western Oregon University is pleased to present the innovative artwork of Portland-based sculptor and installation artist, Marie Sivak. Combining traditional stone carving with video projection, this body of work explores ideas of language and deception.

The keynote speaker will be Emily Newberry, a transgender women and poet. Tickets for the dinner will sold at the MSSP Office or during tabling from 10-3 in the WUC.

Civil Rights Film Series: Freedom Riders As part of the annual Civil Rights Film Series, the Sociology Dept. will be showing "Freedom Riders," which is about famous bus trips across the South for desegregation. Theatre Studio Show: Spike Heels Pygmalion goes awry in this contemporary comedy of manners which explores sexual harassment, misplaced amour, and the possibility of a four sided love triangle. The combatants are a sexy, volatile young woman and three Back Bay types a writer, a lawyer and a fiancee in sensible shoes. The setting is Boston, the ending is happy and laughter abounds.

He is a favorite of many at the Comedy and Magic Club in Hermosa Beach, California. Currently, he stars in Magic Outlaws with two of his friends, who perform magic and travel across the world together.
