Publications and Creative Services is committed to supporting Western Oregon University’s mission of developing educated persons, providing overall editorial direction and collaboration with WOU’s institutional communications and branding strategy.
Publications and Creative Services is responsible for overall editorial direction and planning of WOU’s institutional communications and branding strategy. Student recruitment publications, the Western Edge magazine, fund raising, alumni relations, and the WOU website are the primary focus. The office provides professional expertise in the areas of graphic design, photography, writing and editing for academic and non-academic units on campus. Priority status is given to print and electronic projects associated with student recruitment, development, alumni relations, events and the president’s office. The office is also responsible for the university’s academic identity standards.
