Steering Meetings Notes
FIS Warehouse:
New lead programmer introduced.
New steering commitee formed.
New features of Bi-Q 9 shown. The export to excel is very nice. Documentation on main menu buttons now.
Priorities set
May need to get report writer working on the thin client
New web page with queries common across 5th sites
HRIS Warehouse
New main menu buttons actually now has stuff like data dictionary that gives banner source for fields.
History added to jobs. Can be transactional or periodic. Transactional given highest priority.
Rank and tenure information requested to be added.

Banner Web steps
Check to make sure baninst1 function f_payroll_employee_ind came from fis
Add employee menu (pmenu.P_MainMnu) to standalone_role_nav_bar. All three indicators need checked for it to work.
Add employee menu to main menu bmenu.P_MainMnu with all checked
Change header in global interface to WouHeader
Change text on bmenu.P_MainMnu to relect combined system
Bring over employee tax packages from wodv

Advisee Listing page
We have worked on removing email anchors that we find on the advising pages in web for student. bwlkfstu.P_FacStuSchd is another page with the email anchors. In order to remove the anchor and just print the email address I had to go to bwckfrmt.f_disp_instr_email_icon and modify it.
This worked on some instructors and not others in woudev. Turns out the cursor to get the email address has to indicators that need to be set to Y. (goremal_preferred_ind = 'Y'
AND goremal_disp_web_ind = 'Y') Changing the indicators on those not showing caused them to show up.

This job submission shows credit hours divided into part of term 1, 3, and 6 for a student in a given term. It also gives a sum of the tuition charges from tbraccd.

employee leave
At some point we have to come up with a better system for this. It's getting out of hand. No spreadsheet is the same, you got comas in columns where they don't belong, columns changing month to month, etc. Problem is we can't get HR to move away from their spreadsheet practice so I'm left feeding an everchanging spreadsheet into Banner. Grrrrrr.
