TGRAPPL contunued to be slow
Jeremy and I stuck and driving site hint on sfvstms instead of all rows and we looked at code and saw some text in a compiler hint in the program that could have been causing the hint to not work. I removed offending text and we reran.
Took 20 minutes

BackupFiles updated
All Capp functions, procedures, triggers, ans packages are stored in a capp folder under the banner folder in my home direcory (H drive)
FIS/HR material is stored under FISHRIS folders
SIS material is stored under SIS folders. In addition, the woup:[wou_sis_mods.dbprocs] directory on spruce has also been updated with production modifications.

Tested swbuglf process after cashiers did some sessions.
Lot of problems:
TGRCLOS would never complete. I had to close manually and the run it to finalize.
Swbuglf hung up on TGRAPPL, application of payments. It ran from 9 am to late at night. Had to kill it. In order to rerun you have to do the job delete thing
DELETE FROM GJBPRUN
WHERE GJBPRUN_JOB = 'TGRAPPL'
AND GJBPRUN_ONE_UP_NO = -1;
Tried it again and was getting the same thing so I killed it.
Placed ver 7.1 in woudev path and it completed taking about 35 minutes.
I will try again afterdb refresh next week.

Tran attribute inserted from SGASTDN problem
Ran into a problem with the table trigger insert_sgrsatt_from_sgbstdn. The TRAN attribute was being added to students who had an AAOT or ASOT in a previous term when record added to sgbstdn. Students should not get a TRAN when they already have a previous AAOT or ASOT. The trigger made a call to the functions f_chk_shrtram and f_chk_sordegr to check the degc field on the two tables. It still only checked AAB and AAS so tran insert would happen. I added AAOT and ASOT to the functions and then did a non-standard delete to all tran sgrsatt records that had the previous term AAOT or ASOT codes. Deleted about 640 records.

FIS/AR Reconciliation Report
Generally, this is a spreadsheet report stored in the business office group in the spread folder under ar logs. Past reports are used as a template for the new one. This report is generated each month after the fiscal period is closed and then sent to the director of the business office. It compares dollar amounts from the SIS side to what got fed into FIS for the fiscal period. The SIS numbers come from the output of tgrrcon on the last calendar day of the month. The fis numbers come from the job submission report, Fzrfnar, which inputs fiscal year and fiscal period.

Bi-Query 9.0
I took a look at the newest version sent. Still running into problems using a sqlnet connection without loading Oracle 10x developer. The 10G is a bigger headache to load than the old 6x version. Probably have to play around with this on the thin client server eventually. Maybe you don't need the full bore oracle install but only the sqlnet stuff.

Year end close
The final feed took about 4.5 hrs to run with tgrrcon taking the most time. Twrages and tgrrcon were within a buck of each other. Tgrages has some kinf of problem. The numbers were way off. I checked the counts and first 20 records or so of the tables backed up under fiscal01. I turned the web back on around 10:45 pm
