Senior Project
Well, I made it to the end of senior project. IS431/ There was a point this term when I didn't think I was going to. I missed almost 2 weeks worth of classes because of the problems I was having with the pinched nerve in my back. Luckily my two partners covered for me the period I was out and my instructor let me slide a little by missing a few of the project meetings. Dropping the class would have cost me 2 terms of work. At any rate, I had the chance to work with two seniors. They must have thought they got stuck with the old guy, lol. We did ok.

Banner 7.2 Upgrade
It looks like the Banner team has decided to forgo the 7.2 upgrade in favor of going to 7.3 later in the year. Hr will have to go to 7.3 and we are thinking we might as well take student to 7.3 at the same time. This means a lot of work in the summer for me putting in our mods. 7.3 is not supposed to be released until May.

SFKFEES cont
Ok, I discovered if a coursef fee is set up with a min/max on the table sfrfmax, it scews up the amount that gets reversed on the course fee when dropping a class. I also commented out several lines of come in the p_processfeeaccessment procedure which was new and had to do with swapping. We don't use that anyways. I also replaced p_post_rbt_penalties with the 7.1 version of the procedure.

SFKFEES
So far, the fee assessment piece has not worked correctly in woudev. Course fees are not being reversed when dropping a class. The penalty piece seems to be just find. It looks like we were missing a patch with a newer version of SFKFEES. I have had the patch put in and will add the PSU mods to it. We will test again whem w can get SOATERM set up again. It looks like the form SFAREGS was hit in this as well so we need to put the new version in.

CLM Soil file
This has been a huge pain. Problem I'm having is dealing with all the outer joins in T-SQL. I got a report from Dona that listed 478 students as owing money past payment. After comparisons I got a query to return 525 rows of data as opposed to 225 I had before. This is just first adds. Haven't delt with changes or deletes yet.

Atlas
I went to a meeting for Atlas with the Chancellor's office down in Eugene. It is a tool for students to use to see how their classes would fair at different Oregon universities. In our case, it would require capp to be up and working. There is some initial money available to the small schools to finish transfer articulation rules but there are annual cost assiciated with it that are estimated to be around 8k per year.
