Email Inactivate

I wrote a procedure today that inactivates all email addresses that don't match ldap email addresses (or not in ldap at all). This will clean up the goremal table so that we only have valid and working email address in that table. The procedure is called wou_email.p_invalid_email_addresses. The output is vnumber,banner email, ldap email for students where the email address did not match. The first run cleaned up 269 records, most of which were students that left at least 2 years ago, cancelled admission, or was a staff member with a staff email address already in Banner.

All_rows hint file

I put a text file with all the programs that have the all_rows spriden hint in the I:\staff\rpogrammers\consolidation directory called all_rows_hint.txt. We can use this to fix these programs after the database is merged.

SWRREP4 additional Mreport Cron

I created a new cron job called SWRREP4 that prints another mreport for a second term code. This will mostly be used during the summer when the main mreport SWRREP2 gets switched to fall term. I also created a new web page that displays this term, it can be found at http://www.wou.edu/mreport2.

Report for the week

Some of the things I've been working on lately...

SZPMATH is now in production. Registrar's office will be adding the test scores to catalog so that when a new course is created, these test scores will already be built into the prereqs.

I made a change in SZRCRBK and SWRCRBK so that it only picks up active courses in catalog. If a course is inactivated in SCACRSE, an end term needs to be specified in SCABASE so that we don't get invalid end terms in SZRCRBK.

I got pfaids installed, did some updates and got wireless working on Financial Aid's new laptop. They now have it (and I no longer need to setup computers at WUC anymore,woot!).

I fixed a problem in the schedule of classes where it was adding in duplicates and ended up adding in part of term 3 courses that it shouldn't be. I added a new message to the front page to let students know that they must register via fax or by phone for courses that begin after July 15th ( I also updated summer session web page with this change too).

I fixed all the problem for Spring term SCARF, just need to look at the final numbers to finish it up.

Reports I worked on...
End of term reports for registrar's office: suspended, honor roll and president's lists, grad reports.
Earned hours report for Admissions.
Copied athletes from spring term to fall and sent list of these to Registrar's office.
Counts of student levels for Registrar's office.
Credit hours report for Institutional Research.
SATM and ACTM scores for Admissions for SOAR.
Pin and ID card reports for SOAR.
