PREPARING FOR THE PORTFOLIO ASSIGNMENT
JR 14--FOR ENGLISH MAJORS: (a) search through your archive of written work from classes in the English Core and your Track (i.e., Literature, Linguistics, or Writing); and (b) make a list of the *artifacts that you possess in each area (i.e., label one "English Core Artifacts" and the other "________ Track Artifacts"). NOTE: the Spotlight draft and final draft for the Literacy Narrative will serve as a process snapshot for your Portfolio.
*Artifacts can include journal entries and freewriting; graded papers; first drafts, middle drafts & final drafts of creative and "non-creative" projects; tests; in-class exams; New Media products; collaboraborative projects; notes; etc.)

(b) place a minimum of 5 other artifacts/documents from your JR 14 catalog into the folder.
