Vegetables are wonderful! Often times, children and adults do not like vegetables, but they are an easy addition to any dinner. Vegetables are loaded with vitamins, minerals, and fiber. These nurtients keep you healthy and help you to live a long life. Vegetables include broccoli, tomatoes, cauliflower, spinach, artichokes, and aspargus. Dark green vegetables are the best! Doctors suggest that you eat lots of this category. They recommend that your daily intake should be 3-5 servings.

Some examples of a serving size would be:

  • 3/4 cup vegetable juice
  • 1/2 cup raw or cooked vegetables
  • 1 cup raw leafy vegetables
