
Often when people think of protein, they think of meat. Not everyone eats chicken, beef, or pork in order to get their protein. There are alternative protein options that vegetarians choose from, such items are peanuts, soy, and tofu. These are other beneficial ways to get your daily allotment of protein. It is suggested by doctors that a persons daily protein intake should include two to three servings of this group.
