In this site, the primary study is of exhisting cultures, pre-historic cultures (Cultural Anthropology and Archaeology) and how thier matterial culture helped to sustain thier living. The first three pages (Pre-history, Dorset, Inuit) provides explainitory information on material culture and how it relates to cultural identity. Mission
The purpose of the web site is to develop an online understanding of Native American Art & Culture, specifically in the Arctic. The goal is to communicate information and educate that provides students, professors, and anthropologists with reliable sources and facts, and provide the means for students to develop thier own theories of Native American culture.
