Banner Users

We are scheduled to upgrade to Banner SIS release 7.4 and FIS
7.3 the first weekend of March. HRIS will remain at the
current release 7.2.

All Banner applications will be down from 11:00 P.M. Friday,
February 29 through 10:00 A.M.
Monday, March 3rd.

We will also be upgrading the database to Oracle 10g on the
weekend of March 8-9. All Banner applications will be down
during this time.

The majority of this work is being performed by the OSU computing center in cooperation with the WOU Banner Team.

Hitachi 9980 drives were added to the oradg disk group in preparation for the Oracle9i to Oracle10g migration. Veritas 4.0 File System and Volume Manager was upgraded to Veritas 5.0 Foundation Suite. After installation, Veritas was patched to the latest point release.

Lights out management was setup on TS1, TS8, TS10, TS11, TS12, wou_updater and 112.64.
