The student technology fee will subsidize 50% of the cost of student wireless access starting fall term 2005. Wireless is currently $20/month.
Wired Network
All buildings and Residence Halls on campus are connected to the WOU network. Typically, the backbone infrastructure is 1000 Mb/sec switched ethernet including the server farm. 80% of the user connections are 100 Mb/sec dedicated switch ports.
