Installing Mozilla Thunderbird on your home computer
This entry is for PC users only. I will have Joe do a mail blog for Mac users.
Web-based e-mail from a home computer requires that you allow port 81 through your firewall and allow sundown.wou.edu pop-ups. If you are still having trouble getting mail to work on your home computer, you might try installing mozilla Thunderbird.
You can download Thunderbird here. I have appended a 1 at the end of the file name so that our web server allows the file to be downloaded. Once you have downloaded the file, remove the 1 from the end of the file name. Next, use "My Computer" to browse for the file and double click on the file to begin the installation.
For setup instructions please see my earlier blog posted here.
