Western Oregon University has sent a team to the Hood to Coast relay every year for the last eleven years. Peter Courtney is our team captain. The team is made up of twelve members, each of which runs three legs of the 197 mile relay. We are team number 7, again!

Last night I ran 11 miles in the coast range in preparation of the race this coming Friday. It went well. Two miles of my run were a good continous climb. Once I made it over the peak, I really felt good the rest of the way to the finish. I'm ready for my tenth year of Hood to Coast!
