WOU faculty and students produce short film
Over the summer, a group of Western Oregon faculty, students, and friends, worked on a short film, 5 Cups of Coffee, written by Maren Bradley Anderson (English and Writing) and directed and edited by Shaun Huston (Geography and Film Studies). Actors included students Katey Bridge and Meghan Flickinger, and former student Nic Forsberg. David Doellinger (History) was the director of photography and William Doug Smith (Anthropology) assisted with sound and will be contributing to the musical soundtrack alongside student Jenn Stamps. Student Ty Brack is a key player in the film's pivotal scene, which was shot at Rick's Place in Monmouth. 5 Cups is currently featured in the "Faculty Showcase" at Hamersly Library (first floor near HL 107). More details, including still photographs at the official film blog.
