Attendance & Participation

Neither attendance nor participation is a required element of the class, but both can raise your final grade. Regular participation and attendance in the Monday meetings will earn you at least benefit of the doubt on your grade at the end of the term. That is, if you participate and attend class on a consistent basis, and you are close to or on the border between grades, you will get moved to the higher grade. In exceptional cases, attendance and participation may mean a more significant adjustment of your point total at the end of term. You can also earn additonal consideration for attendance and participation by contributing to the Online Discussions above the required two (2) contributions per week. In addition, please note that certain Assignments require attendance.
