There are two required texts for this class:

Dawn Alexandra Berry, Nigel Bowles, and Halbert Jones, eds., Governing the North American Arctic: Sovereignty, Security, and Institutions (Palgrave Macmillan, 2016).

Kevin Lippert, War Plan Red: The United States' Secret Plan to Invade Canada and Canada's Secret Plan to Invade the United States (Princeton Architectural Press, 2015).

These books serve as the primary texts for the course. Reading assignments are indicated on Moodle and may include material in addition to chapters from the required texts. Reading and other materials may also be embedded in discussions (see Assignments).
