Attendance & Participation

Neither attendance nor participation is a required element of the class, but both can help your grade. Regular participation and attendance will earn you at least benefit of the doubt on your grade at the end of the term. That is, if you participate and attend class on a consistent basis, and you are close to or on the border between grades, you will get moved to the higher grade. In exceptional cases, attendance and participation may mean a more significant adjustment of your point total at the end of term. You may also earn consideration for your contributions to the class weblog. Please note that certain Assignments require attendance.
