A writing course dealing with current theories and practices in teaching writing in English language arts and other subject areas in the public school. Pre-requisites for 440: WR 135 and Ling 215 or consent of instructor.

Students will learn to base writing assignments on best practices theory and design writing assignments to meet specific goals.
