The Spring quarter of British literature focuses on texts from the late 19th through the 20th century. To say the least, a lot happens in this period! While we can only touch on a select few writers as we whiz through the past 150 years, you will find yourself on more familiar terrain this term. I want to encourage you to discover connections between literature and "the world," capitalizing now on your greater familiarity with the styles and issues.
