Unit 5

All units will be open at all times but please do not let things pile up on you. This class is very manageable if you stay on target and attend carefully to the due dates - there's no "hidden" assignments are requirements - everything is represented here. I suggest you read each unit carefully and follow instructions - you'll be fine if you do!

Below are assignment due dates:

- Saturday, June 23rd - 1st class meeting - bring your work on the chapter 1 activity, bring your completed Knowledge Survey

- Sunday, July 8th - send your responses to the two questions posed in unit 2 to Mark via email by midnight

- Saturday, July 14th - 2nd class meeting - be prepared to set up and work on the Qualitative Methods Project - don't miss this day! You should show up on this day having read chapter 6 from unit 4 and should have completed the Zork activity from unit 4 as well! Either send Mark your chapter 6 questions via email or bring them on this day.

- Sunday, July 15th - Send to Mark by midnight via email the chapter 6 discussion questions found in unit 4.

- Sunday, July 22nd - Qualitative Methods Paper due to Mark by midnight via email

- Sunday, July 29th - Hot Topics paper or Classroom Ethnography paper due to Mark by midnight via email

- Saturday, August 4th - Be prepared to turn in all the activities you've completed during the units as part of your participation grade. You should be prepared to turn in the following: (1) unit 1 - chapter 1 activity; (2) unit 4 - Zork activity; (3) unit 5 - M&M activity (also called Investigating variability and central tendency); (4) unit 5 - Investigating relationships activity, and; (5) unit 5 - T-tests activity. Each of these should be complete and should demonstrate thoughtful attempts at learning to earn full participation points.

- Sunday, August 5th, Quantitative Methods Paper due to Mark by midnight via email - this will sneak up on you!

Don't fall behind as I have to turn in grades on Monday, August 6th!
