Unit 7

Unit 7 Multiple intelligences: Entry points framework
This is a framework that constructs curriculum to support success among learners with very different profiles of intelligence. This framework assumes that content areas such as math, literature, sciences, history and art reflect multiple perspectives that can accommodate learners with multiple intelligences.

Entry points are metaphorically referred to as different doors, each of which leads into the same room. Can a student high on musical intelligence use music intelligence to learn math? Entry points framework assumes that the student can use the musical intelligence as the entry point into the “math” room. So we can have as many entry points as we have intelligences.
