Assignment 1: Chapter 1 Exercises 3, 8, 9; Major Exercises 1(4 in old book) and 4 (7 in old book); Research and report on two proofs of the Pythagorean theorem that are different from the ones presented in our textbook. Due date is 4/10/08.

Assignment 2: Chapter 2 Exercises 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13; Major Exercises: choose one to do. Due date is 4/17/08.

Assignment 3: Chapter 2 Exercises 12, 14, and 15; Major Exercises: choose one to do, a different one from the previous assignment. Due date is 4/29/08.

Assignment 4: Chapter 3 Exercises 30-34. Due date is 5/8/08.
