Welcome to Ray Family Online

This website is intended to be a gathering place for people researching my family. Whether you are close family, distant relatives, of strangers out there on the web, Welcome!

Feel free to click the links above and peruse some of the information I have gathered thus far. Coming soon, there will be photo pages, a message board and more.

If you have questions or suggestions, please feel free to e-mail me..

Some of my ancestors are William Riley Ray, of Tennessee and Texas, Reney Cimmiamon Alexander, of Louisiana and Texas, Revolutionary War veteran Billington Taylor, the early Methodist minister Pleasant Axley, Norweigian Immigrant Mary A. Williamson, Irish Immigrant Patrick McCarvel, Mexican War veteran Phillip McSparren, Ziba Baldwin, and Giuseppe Torchio.

I am always eager to hear from distant relatives and others researching these lines. Please feel free to contact me if you have any information.

 Special Thanks

A special thanks goes out to all those who have helped me in my research and performed so much of their own.

These include my grandmothers, Thelma (Wallace) Ray and Elizabeth (Baldwin) Torchio, Susan (Ray) Fontaine, Leola "Cokie" (Lackey) Ray, Marla Gilbert, Bob Yerington, Doris F. Williams (an enormous help and a fountain of knowledge), and Loraine Brooks Whittemore.

My parents Ellen (Torchio) and Allen Ray
