Peter Callero has been a professor of sociology at WOU since 1986. He regularly teaches the following courses: Contemporary Social Theory; Research Methods; Statistical Data Analysis; Self and Society; Deviant Behavior; and Community Organizing. Professor Callero’s research interests center on the problem of self-identity in modern society. He is currently investigating the relationship between particular social identities and the structure of political action.
