Teaching Children Mathematics: Percents and Proportions
1. Find and read a Teaching Children Mathematics (NCTM journal) article related to percents or proportions
You can search for articles and article abstracts using either WOU Library or NCTM resources. It is likely to find a complete copy of an article you will need to go to the library.
2. Determine three items in the article that might be useful for a lesson plan idea in Math 395
List each item and, for each, give a paragraph or so description / discussion about why your think the item relates to a useful lesson plan idea for Math 395.
Fully reference your article with title, authors and journal date (see template)

1. Find and read a Mathematics Teaching in the Middle School (NCTM journal) article related to percents or proportions
