Research and Scholarship:  NSF/Research Coordination Network Grant

Overview Statement

My NSF/MO project has also afforded me the following additional, national research and funding opportunities:  specifically, I am a core group member (1/12) of the NSF-supported Research Coordination Network (RCN) grant and project in Yellowstone National Park.  This 5-year grant ($125K annually) is directly provided to the Thermal Biology Institute at Montana State University, with significant funds spent to support travel for meetings and workshops.  To date, I have received approximately $1500 in travel support for workshop attendance related to these efforts.  An outline of related activities for each of these funded projects is outlined below and serves as a key for supporting documents that have been provided in this section.  In the spirit of judiciously selecting only key documents for this file, full text for related meetings abstracts and posters have not been provided.
