Make sure you have the COURSE MATERIALS listed on the class syllabus. Tuesday (4/3) lab requires the use of your class activity book.

Note: If you are repeating Math 211, please email Cheryl to get blank copies of the activity sets. (beaverc@wou.edu)

2. LOOK OVER the class web pages, If you have a home computer, bookmark the class web pages. Note your assignments for today include:

Read Section 1.1 (§1.1) in your textbook-due Tuesday, 4/3
 
ii)
The email assignment listed below-due Wednesday, 4/4, 11:59 pm
 
iii)
Scoring Guide Warm Up (use link on HW page)-due Friday, 4/6 beginning of class
 
iv)
Chapter 1 Online (use link on HW page)-due Friday, 4/6
3. Register your online homework CONNECT account. Go to the class website and bookmark the page. You should be able to view the first assignment which is due Monday, 4/9. This is a mandatory component of the course. If you have not yet purchased your account, you may sign up for a 3 week trial period, but you must purchase the account before the end of the three weeks. Instructions here.

Download and print (if you wish) the COURSE HANDOUTS. These handouts are for your use during the term. Included are note taking outline sheets for each section of the book. These pages are for use if you wish to take notes during class or while reading the text on your own. The homework page will indicate which sections we are covering in class so you can determine which outline sheets to bring with you.
