This literature review focuses on the influence of Spanish television and the media in general on young Latin-Americans. Here, I share what some experts have to say about the influence of the media and I relate those ideas with my own experiences of media in Spanish and how it targets young Latinos and influences them on what they should buy, think, act, or even feel.

Learning the Language in the Open World
The purpose of this essay is to discover some of the advances in language acquisition and give some reasons why language teachers should use innovation and technology to customize language instruction and provide authentic interaction in the target language for their students.

Illegal Immigration in the Media
Oftentimes, the media can misrepresent minorities. In this essay, I provide a detailed analysis of different news sources and media in order to determine why different messages of the same story are being sent and how these media messages may misrepresent Mexicans, United States citizens, and illegal immigrants.
