2012-13 Academic Year Tuition and Mandatory Fees

Resident Students

The Western Tuition Choice provides new undergraduate students from Oregon and students who are from one of the western states that participate in the Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) the option of selecting one of two tuition plans. Once you make your choice, your plan cannot be changed. Both plans (the Traditional Plan and the Tuition Promise) are designed to provide you the most affordable tuition possible.

The Traditional plan, or save now, should have a lower tuition rate for at least the first two years you are enrolled at WOU but the tuition for this plan will increase annually. The Tuition Promise, or save later, starts with a higher tuition rate, but locks that rate in for four years. The 2012-13 tuition rate for the an Oregon student taking 15 credits per term under the traditional plan will be over $500 lower for the year than the student selecting the Tuition Promise.
