At the heart of the Western’s campus is the Werner University Center or WUC. The bookstore, student group offices, meeting spaces, deli, coffee shop and Wolf Grill make the WUC the unofficial Wolves headquarters.

The new health and wellness center is underway

Construction began on the health and wellness center after the groundbreaking ceremony held on Monday, Oct. 5. The ceremony included remarks by Oregon Senate President Peter Courtney, WOU President John P. Minahan, and a blessing by Eirik Thorsgard of the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde.

The new live-learn residence hall is also making good progress. A live Web cam has been set up at each construction site so anyone can take a look at the construction progress.
