Description of Services
Video Conferences
We provide one-way and two-way video and teleconferences at the Production Studio (IT005) and at the Hamersly Library. Video conferences are an excellent way to conduct remote interviews, meetings, classes, and similar events.
Satellite Downlinking
Live events can be shown at the Production Studio (IT005) and the Hamersly Library. Programs (i.e., the Annenberg channel) can be recorded.
Duplication Services
VHS tape and DVD disc duplication and audio duplication, as well as the conversion of video in international formats.
Captioning
VPS provides advice to campus clients and will coordinate with third party captioning services.
Video Production
We tape campus lectures and events including some athletics. VPS does not have the capability to develop creative projects or perform professional post–production editing. Minor editing is available.
WIMPEG
VPS provides the technical operation and management for the community cable access channels (Public-Education-Government or PEG channels). WIMPEG is a partnership of WOU and the cities of Monmouth and Independence.

Please note: because of limited staff size and prior committments, please try to request services at least two weeks before they are needed (longer if it requires in depth production/broadcasting). The earlier the request the higher the chance that we will be able to proceed with your request.
