Banner FIS/HRIS/SIS
The BANNER application, a software product of SCT inc., is developed to run on Oracle's Database Management System. The database is located in the Chancellor's Office at OUS in Corvallis. Faculty and staff connect to the database through their web browsers using the Banner INB application.
WOU uses several modules of BANNER:
- FIS (Financial Information System) is used for accounting functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, budgeting, and so forth.
- SIS (Student Information System) is used to register students, print grades, generate class schedules, and create reports with student data.
- HRIS (Human Resources Information System) is used for payroll, benefits, and related functions.
