The QRIS Process

QRIS can be looked at as a four step process. As you progress along this path, you will find decision points, resources and lots of support to successfully achieve your targeted designation.

increasing quality training, apply, receive support, submit portfolio
  • Step 1: Learn how to access free tools, advice and financial incentives by attending a free Increasing Quality Training session at your local Child Care Resource and Referral.
  • Step 2: Complete and submit an application and self-assessment.
  • Step 3: Receive support and feedback from our team of early learning experts about what you're doing well and how you can improve.
  • Step 4: Submit your portfolio to get your rating designation and use it as a marketing tool to grow your business or reassure parents their child is in capable and knowledgeable hands.

The process for field test participants begins with contacting your local Child Care Resource and Referral and signing up for an Increasing Quality Training session.
