The Columbia Room is the
second largest conference
room in the Werner University
Center. Located in the NE
corner of the first floor,
there is exterior as well
as disabled interior access
to the room. The Columbia
Room is available for large
meetings (231 max), banquets(128
max), classes (98 max),
or conferences (54 max).
The room features a dual
sound system: an overhead
system for leactures and
conferences and a surround
sound system for music and
movies. Other speacial features
include service counters
for brochures or catering,
multiple lighting options,
fiber optics and internet
access ports (2). There is Wi-Fi available through the Werner University Center. This room
can be divided into 2 rooms
(Columbia Room A and Columbia
Room B). Each room has as
executive wall unit with
dry-erase board and markers
as well as clips for flip
charts. Additional A.V.
equipment can be requested
and placed in the room(s)
if needed. The Yamaha Grand
Piano from the first floor
lobby can be moved into
the Columbia Room for special
occasions.
