Student Leadership and Activities

Overview

All student organization elections are required to be held by the conclusion of May in the Spring Quarter. The New Officer Transition Program is a training program assembled by ASWOU and Student Leadership and Activities in order to facilitate learning opportunities for incoming and returning student organization leaders. The program consists of basic functions, question and answer panel, and transition time with exiting officers. All ASWOU Student organizations are required to attend this training program.

  • Former President and/or Vice President and Treasurer
  • All newly elected positions

What materials should I bring?

  • Transition Binders or worksheets
  • Passwords to e-mail addresses
  • Past event/program notes
  • Budget Notes
  • Any other pertinent information that should be passed on to carry out club functions
