WOU Chocolate Chip Cookie
Bake-Off

 

Student Leadership & Activities is sponsoring a chocolate-chip cookie bake off! Tuesday, November 17th from 12-1 in the Werner University Center Oregon Room. Everyone is invited to attend, sample and see! Free milk to be provided!

 

Interested in entering?

 

If you are interested in entering the competition, here are the rules and guidelines:

  • Indicate via e-mail to tuckerj@wou.edu that you intend to enter your cookies in the bake off no later than Friday, November 13th by 5 p.m.
  • Participants must make at least 2 dozen cookies - cut into quarters for easier tasting.
  • Size of cookies doesn't matter.
  • Must have chocolate chips in the ingredients, other ingredients are optional.
  • Judging will be based upon taste, appearance and creativity
  • If a recipe is used, it must be cited by the contestant.
  • Cookies may be warm or cold at time of judging.
  • Ingredients must be put on a 3x5" index card (not amounts, just ingredients) for dietary or allergen concerns.
  • Winner will receive a trophy, gift certificate and publicity on campus.
  • Winners determined by average score from each of the judges.

The judging will take place promptly at 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday, November 17th at the Oregon Room.
