Services The Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs provides services and programs to enhance the learning environment for students and complement the academic programs at WOU. The Office is available for students who need assistance on where to get help on campus. The Office of the Vice President is responsible for the following:
- Administration and policy development for the Division of Student Affairs
- Administration and compliance with the Drug Free Schools and Communities Act
- Adminstration of WOLF Ride: WOU's Safe Ride Program
- Advise the Associated Students of Western Oregon University (ASWOU), Western's student government
- Advise the Incidental Fee Committee
- Advise students on University policies and procedures
- Approves all Student Travel Requests' (policy & request form)
- Approves posters for display on Campus Activities bulletin boards
- Assist students with the WOU Student Grievance Procedure
- Code of Student Responsibility
- Courtesy Phone Calls to Instructors in Emergency Situations
- Resource and liaison services to students
- Review student requests to work over 20 hours per week on campus (request form)
