Re-Contracting for On Campus Housing


The process University Housing uses to allow current residents to sign up for the room or apartment of THEIR CHOICE with the roommate(s) of THEIR CHOICE is called RE-CONTRACTING

.

Re-Contracting happens during Spring Term of each academic year. The process is for current residents ONLY and this year will follow the timeline below.


Students and ROOMMATES MUST have completed and submited their Room Sign-Up Renewal Forms on time to participate in the Room Sign-Up Night to select the room or apartment of their choice.

Please note: Because the Re-contracting process is for our current residents ONLY, Remember - you will be unable to pull in students who live OFF campus.


PRIORITY DATES HAVE BEEN POSTED!

PLEASE NOTE:

THE FIRST 150 NAMES ON THE LIST NEED TO ARRIVE AT ROOM SIGN-UP NIGHT TUESDAY, APRIL 17 IN THE PACIFIC ROOM, WUC BY 5 PM ANYONE IN YOUR "ROOM GROUP" (Your chosen roommates) EVEN IF THEY HAVE A LATER PRIORITY DATE AND FALL BELOW THE 150 CUT-OFF NEEDS TO ARRIVE WITH YOU (OR SEND A PROXY NOTE WITH YOU) BY 5 PM


THOSE STUDENTS FALLING BELOW THE FIRST 150 AND NOT BEING PULLED INTO A ROOM BY SOMEONE WITH A HIGHER PRIORITY DATE SHOULD ARRIVE TO ROOM SIGN-UP NIGHT BY 7:30 PM (You are welcome to come at 5 PM, but we won't get to calling your name until that later time)

    IN STUDENT MAILBOXES, ON LINE, ON THE WOU PORTAL

    APR 4, by 5 PM

    COMPLETED ROOM SIGN-UP FORMS DUE
    in University Housing Office

    APR 6, by 5 PM

    POSTING OF PRIORITY DATE LIST ON WOU PORTAL

    APR 12, 6 PM

    ROOMMATE MIXER -
    MT. HOOD ROOM, VALSETZ

    APRIL 17

    ROOM SIGN-UP NIGHT

    5 PM to 10 PM, Pacific Room, WUC
